Gold Bracelet with Gold Charms - Fraser Ross Jewellery

Hey guys, this is just a quick video about my Pandora gold charms bracelet. I love this bracelet I wear it almost every day and I get asked a lot of questions, you know from what I've been into the charms, to how much do they run. are they retired, how long is the bracelet, I’ve been honest with you, I don't keep track, I've no idea so I've looked them all up and put all the information in one place.

I hope you find it informative and if you have any questions just shoot me a message over and I'll get right back to you, enjoy. So this is my Pandora bracelet, it is on a 14 karat gold bracelet and it is eight point three inches in length. they do come in different lengths but for this one I just wanted something a little larger so it doesn't get snug as I get beads to it.

it does run 1650 before taxes for this particular length, it does come with a gold barrel clasp that you can see says ‘Pandora’ and when I flip it over you can just see that there's a serial number inside and it's just a traditional pandora clasp and fits right inside, just like that. it is a little tricky putting it on yourself but I do get the hang of it. I do recommend in this and a safety chain as well which I need to put on here, so let's get started talking about the beads.

this first bead here is called the Royal Victorian black enamel bead and it runs around three hundred dollars and one of the things I love so much about it, is just that it has a lot of openwork so you can see the bracelet through it, it's a nice little bead this second one, we're just going to come back to just so I can show you some unique things on the sides.

this next one is a clip and it's called scene spots, it retails for $300 and it was retired back in 2013, however you can still find retired pieces in Pandora stores until they're completely sold out. this next bead is called Celtic circles pink topaz, it sells for 380 dollars and it is a current bead that you can purchase at any Pandora. I like it because it has a subtle amount of colour that it brings into the bracelet, so it's just a nice addition to it.

this next one's called the royal crown with diamonds, it retails for seven hundred seventy dollars and it unfortunately was just retired this year in 2015, but you can pretty much still find them in any Pandora store. I've yet to find one that's completely sold out of it and I love this little beady-eyed wanted it for a long time, but the one thing I found is a little annoying with it, is it does move around quite a bit, where it'll flip like this. really doesn't sit flush on your wrist but it just adds some uniqueness and character to the bracelet.

this next one's called the open your heart bead, it is a current bead that you can find it in depends on our store and it retails for 360 dollars and it's just another one that I really like, because of all the open work and being able to see the bracelet through the bead. this next one is a clip and it's called the babbling brook clip, it sells for 515 and I like it because it has some little diamond chips in it that just kind of accent the swirls in it.

it is a current piece, you can find it in any, this next charm bead is called constellation with onyx and it did just retire in 2015. it retails for 345 and you can still find it in some Pandora stores, again great openwork. and the last one over here is called rhodolite hypnotized clip it's actually a clip that I'm using as a bead, it did retire back in 2013, so it's super hard to find and it does retail for 395, but it just adds a little pop of colour.

so getting back to this bead now, it's called the pave light speed and you can see on the side it actually is labelled with Pandora and on the other side it has a serial ID number as well. it is Swarovski crystals, it's a current bead that's being sold and it retails for four hundred dollars and I think it just adds a nice amount of sparkle to the piece. so an important part of having jewellery is just how you store it and keep it when you're not wearing it and this is my little pandora jewellery box, those of you who have seen my other pandora video know it was from a gift set I got and I like to keep my gold bracelet in there. neat thing about this particular box is that there's a second layer underneath it where you can keep additional loose beads.

I just like it for general storage of my beads and also just a safe place for my bracelet when I don't have it on, for this particular bracelet in this length with these beads and clips it would run 5115 dollars, before taxes, a great way to save money but to get a similar look would be just to go with a silver Pandora bracelet or a silver bracelet with the gold clasp. another point to mention is that any silver bead can also be made into a gold bead by just ordering it at your Pandora store, so that pretty much wraps up my video. I hope you found it informative, any questions you have please feel free to shoot me a message and I'll make sure that I get back to you. thanks for stopping by.

Red Carpet Jewellery - by Fraser Ross

Hey guys it's Allison from fab sugar TV and I'm so excited about this next video. I was lucky enough to go behind-the-scenes at two of Hollywood's biggest jewellers, Martin Katz and Tiffany and company where celebrities go to get their red-carpet jewels. I just about passed out when they put a two-million-dollar ring on my finger. I have a few questions for you guys, so be sure to comment after you watch.

First what was your favourite piece? I think mine was the one where my Claire Danes and second if you were on the red carpet what would you wear? Let me know what you think in the comments and don't forget to subscribe. We're always dazzled by the beautiful baubles we see our favourite celebrities wearing on the red carpet, but it's not every day that you get to see and touch the actual pieces they wear. So today we're heading to Hollywood's biggest jewellers, Martin Katz and Tiffany and company to find out how much those red-carpet jewels really cost. Twenty million dollars, what they feel like up close, so lights and get a sneak peek at some of the hottest jewellery trends of the season.

We're going to see colour on the red carpet like you haven't seen before. First on the red carpet in 1992 was Sharon Stone. I've chosen three pieces here that you've seen on the red carpet, here's a sapphire earring that Frieda Pinto was wearing from Slumdog Millionaire and the beauty is and you see the light pastel sapphire, the dark little pinpoints of dark sapphire and you see there's even pink in there. Now this next pen Felicity Huffman wore in her hair, it's titanium so it's very, very light this is two hundred thousand dollars. We're not done yet because she also had earrings on, oh and these are pear shaped earrings, often referred to as the Oprah style earrings, there you are. Oh all right so let's get a grand total I’ve got two hundred thousand in my hair and 168,000 in my ears. Just have them all tell me about this ring that we got here, Claire Danes wore this to the Emmys 2002, this is an 10 carat pink diamond, the setting on this pink diamond it's in rose gold or pink gold and we're set with them pink diamonds around. This just was the crowning element to the whole ensemble. I really can't breathe right now. It does have a way of taking your breath away, as does the two million dollar price tag.
Wait I’ve got two million dollars on, I can't say two million dollars on my ring rack and flustered. So now that I’ve been dripped in diamonds, thank you so much for showing us the jewels that the celebrities have been wearing. So after Martin Katz, we came here to Tiffany & Company, another red-carpet jewellery staple. Their diamond experts told us about Natalie Portman's two million-dollar earrings and Kate Winslet yellow gold necklace and of course while I’m here I have to try on some jewels. So this year at the 2011 SAG Awards Natalie Portman worth Tiffany and she looks fantastic. I have the earrings she wore right here, this is 32 carats worth of fancy intense yellow diamonds, they're worth two million dollars. So Natalie didn’t stop there, she actually piled on three pave bracelets.

This is the year of Natalie Portman she's already won Best Actress at the sides and Best Actress at the Golden Globes and we have the necklace that she Ward's the Golden Globes this year. It's 68 thousand dollars worth of bezel-set diamonds, Kate Winslet always looks classic and for the 2010 Oscars to present two worlds, two stacked bracelets that look almost identical to the one I have here and she topped it off with a 3.1 million dollar necklace. So to get the full Kate Winslet effect, he stacked a colourless diamond bracelet alongside it. So this is what six hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars of diamonds on your wrist looks like and let's find out what trends you can expect to see celebrities wearing this season.

Green has been a big red carpet trend from Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis this season. It's definitely going to be about colour this year this is a beautiful 20 carat emerald. This is an old button probably from some Maharaja, this is a bead, the cycle wheel is a button with other small beads and what we call diamond relays. These are very small diamonds cut like pineapples. I love it get ready to see colour for the yellow cocktail rings - diamond drop earrings, we're excited to see if our red carpet trend predictions really come true. Check out pop sugars live coverage of the 2011 Oscars. I'm Allison, thanks for watching fab sugar TV.

Charm Bangle Bracelet - Jewellery by Fraser Ross

Hi this is Julie at beadaholique and I want to show you how to embellish an adjustable bangle bracelet. These are very popular right now, they are super trendy, see them with celebrities wearing them, you see them in the fashion magazines. This is a bangle bracelet that is adjustable. You see how this slides and there's a lot of different possibilities for embellishing it.

You can put charms on the outer ring, on the inside, or if you want to you can put on the loops. If you're going to put them on the loops I would just recommend just squeezing that loop just a little tighter shut, so then you can hang a charm on the loop. A lot of different things you can do with these and oftentimes you'll see people wearing them stacked. So perhaps there'll be a set like this, which is like a yoga inspired set, where they're all to a theme and you wear three or more at a time, but you don't have to keep them to a theme. They actually look really good, mixed metals combined together and just different ones combined on your wrist and that's really the way to wear them, but you can wear them singularly as well and I have a couple of different examples here to show you, the variety of things you can do with them.

Here this is really simple, it just has a single charm on it and that's very nice and elegant and you could pair that with this as well, you could also pair it with other ones. Then here we have a sports themed one, this is great as your, if you're making a gift, you can really personalize it. I actually pulled out some other charms here, just to give you an idea for personalization. Mom if you can do that for this one here or 10k for a marathon, a little athletic shoe for someone who loves to run, perhaps a sailboat for someone who loves to sail.

We have hundreds of charms on beadaholique.com that would really let you personalize these, it's a fun sports themed one. One thing I do want you to keep in mind though is you are going to want to always make sure you have the flexibility of that interior movement. So don't pack this so full it can't then do what it's meant to do which is to be adjustable. I have this one here I wanted to show you, just kind of a fun themed one of the bird and arrow, a nice bright red Swarovski crystal.

Here's a Paris themed one, the Eiffel Tower of course and the Wii symbol re showed you the yoga set and then I even have like a jingle bell holiday Christmas one with snowflakes and some jingle bells which are fun. So I do want to show you how you'd put one of these together, so I'm going to embellish this one with the letter K, an initial charm, our designer Karlin actually came up with this design and her name starts with K. I think that this should be hers, so first off I'm going to start by setting a Rivoli into a tierracast setting so this is a Swarovski crystal, it's very vibrant and you can see I just turned my cap over, punctured the top seal of my e6000 glue and now I'm just going to squeeze a little bit into that.

Well it does not take much, this glue is incredibly strong. These are not hard to make, this is some of the quickest and easiest jewelry you'll find, which again is why it is a really good gift item, but it's fun, it's fun, it's very on-trend very fashion-forward and is quite fun to make and to choose your different beads. So next I'm going to make a few little baubles. I have a pair of wire looping pliers instead of round nose pliers, definitely you can make loops with round nose pliers but I love these wire looping pliers because they do some of the work for me. I'm sure you've seen them in my other videos, so I am going to actually make a simple wrapped wire loop in this case. I could have made a simple loop, if you're going to do that just make sure your loop is big enough to get around the wire part of the bracelet.

I do that with my other baubles as well, these are Swarovski crystal faux pearls which are lovely. I remember when I was growing up my grandma gave me a charm bracelet and she would always give me a new charm on every holiday or birthday or you know special occasion and that was so special to me and I feel like these bangle bracelets are kind of the modern equivalent of that, and it's nice if you do have someone in your life who you might want to, you know, start a tradition with you, can either give them a new bangle with decorations for each special occasion or give them a you know, a blank one to start with.

Maybe just a charm or two and add to it as you go along, but I still have my grandmothers charm bracelet and I think that's a nice thing to do. See I made that loop a little bit different, I grabbed it with my pliers which is a good way of doing it, to clean up my loops as I go. Now I’ve got everything ready to attach, normally I'd let that dry for, you know, an hour or two before I progress to the next step, but for the purpose of the video I want to keep going.

So now I'm going to take a pair of chain nose pliers on each side of the open jump ring and just twist the jump ring open. Now remember you can put these wherever you want. I'm going to put most of my baubles on this bottom adjustable bar, don't be afraid to mix metals with these, I actually really think it's quite striking when you do put silver and gold together. I have an example of that here on this Christmas one. I think that's really pretty, now one thing you can do too, is you don't have to just do one jump ring per bobble attaching it, you can go ahead and take the bobble and the charm, put them on the same jump ring and then attach that and they're going to attach this to the outside. Close it back up, so now I’ve got some of the charms that move around and some that are fixed in the middle. That is what the finished piece looks like, so you can find all of these products and more along with a lot of project ideas and other videos relating to these at beadaholique.com.

Remove Knots From Necklaces

Hey guys, every so often, when you're doing as many yard sales and estate sales and garage sales as I do, you'll come across some gold jewellery that people will sell really cheap and you like to find anything that you can resell cheap, because, buy low and sell high is the way you make it in this business. Sometimes you'll find people that have gold necklace chains, very often, as a matter of fact, with knots in them and generally speaking a lot of people don't have the patience or the know how to handle knots and necklaces without kinking the chain or breaking the chain.

They just don't have the patience to handle it and deal with it, but you can actually do it very easy and a lot of people aren't aware of it. So I just wanted to show you something that I’ve been doing for years. I've showed a lot of other people and generally speaking, they've all said that it's the easiest way that they've, most of most of them had thrown jewellery out before, or let it go in their yard sells for a fraction of its worth. Simply because they couldn't handle simple knots and in order to get a lot out of a little, you can see how fine this gold chain is, to get a knot out of a fine gold chain like this you really only need to two instruments, perhaps three.

If your eyes aren't good enough to be able to see the knot and the chain very well you may have to invest in a good magnifying glass, but if your eyes are like mine the fairly decent you can still see fairly well. Really the only two things that you need are a safety pin and a pair of tweezers. Now not just any tweezers, but you need to find some that have a very fine point on them. I've actually done some grinding on these I used to work in a machine shop and I used to use these for precision work in the machine shop, but I use them now precision work with gold and silver necklaces and basically the only thing you have to do is you use the tweezers to stabilize the knot and if you'll just take the safety pin and find the centre of the knot.

The necklace chain comes in from this direction and goes out from this direction, or it comes in from this direction, gets twisted and knotted up and goes out the other direction. So the easiest way to do this is just to begin by finding a centre point. Put your PIN through it and that's going to give you a hole to work with and then as you begin to pull it very gently, you can find the slack with the tweezers. Then if you'll just gently pull away from one another, usually any simple knot will come out fairly easily using this method and even complex knots where there's two and three knots all bonded together in the necklace chain, you can still do it.

You just have to work one knot at a time and to save time I'm not going to show you that method but you can see how simply that knot came out, just by using these two instruments. Now you can look at a solid gold chain with a knot in it, especially if it has a big huge complex knot somewhere in it and it's two and three knots all bound together you can look at a piece of jewellery like that and say it's worthless or if you've got the right eye and you know what you're doing, you can look at that as a business opportunity because you can buy low and sell high after you've done a minimal amount of work to it.

So take that for what it's worth, practice a little bit, I would suggest if you were going to do it practice on an old chain that you don't care if you can't get or break it but you can get pretty proficient at it, at a very fast rate and I hope this helps you the next time one of your personal items gets kinked or if you're like me and you're always looking for an opportunity to get something cheap and resell it. Till next time, bye, bye.

Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet

Hey guys, if you've been to my channel before you'll know how much I am obsessed with Harry Potter and I thought I'd do this quick video because, when I first bought these purchases I'm going to show you now - I couldn't find anything online or any YouTube videos or even on Instagram. If these products I wanted to see better close-up shot in person, so I thought I'd do a quick video what I got.

So here I have a charm bracelet and one charm that I bought from the Harry Potter studio tour when I went. I actually got the charm from the Harry Potter studio tour and I bought the bracelet from the platform 9 and three quarter shop in London. This train station so first I will show you the packaging, the packaging is that is a quite scratched up that was just there they pulled out of there drawer, like a cupboard drawer with a few other ones that were in there so it's got quite a lot of scratches on it and it's even still got this on X as Harry Potter silver charm bracelet adult and I just haven’t taken that off, but that's what the both boxes look like.

So when you open it up, it's on these two black felt things, just to prop it off of it. As you can see it's a link style charm bracelet and here on this little tag it says Harry Potter and then the copyright symbol and then WBE and on the other side, it's just got hallmarks. When they printed the Harry Potter logo on mine it obviously didn't work very well, because it's much sharper on one side than it is the other but it's quite a decent weight. I was expecting it to be quite flimsy but it's actually a really nice solid sterling silver finish and weight to it and it's got this little lobster clasp.

The lobster clasp is actually quite fiddly, is quite small and obviously the bigger it is the easier to use but because it's quite a small fiddly one it's a little bit more difficult, but it's very nice lovely sturdy silver plain charm bracelet and in this box here we have the charm that I chose and the charms came in this slot plastic bag as well. The charm that I chose is dobby and he is so, so detailed I absolutely adore him I think he looks so, so cute. He's got all this darker detailing on his pillowcase and in between his ears and the lines back in his feet as well. It's a fantastic very well made charm, it's very fiddly to attach the charm onto the bracelet actually, especially because he's got a pointy little nose here and actually dig in quite a bit to put it on.

So there you go you just pop it on with that lobster clasp onto the one of the links and that's how you look on the bracelet, just little up close shot of him in all, these tiny little feet as well, I think he's adorable. You can get air both of those from the studio tour itself. I just wanted to get the bracelet from the platform nine and three quarter shop, the charm from the studio. There's so many different options of charms which I love, the charms range from I believe about 45 pounds to 65 pounds, so they're relatively expensive but they are sterling silver and highly recommend it.

I absolutely love it, the only thing is the chain is actually quite long for me. I have only small wrists, so in to put it further up here with the clasp end up, getting like a long chain, long extra bit of chain here, which I don't tend to actually like, so I rather have it further up in just a little bit more loose. So this is what the bracelet looks like on, just dangles from the bracelet like that and he looks very cute.

Lastly I just wanted to add, that I am indeed going to actually get the charm soldered onto the bracelet, once I’ve got a few more charms to my collection because I feel like it just be a bit more sturdy on the bracelet and I won't be worrying about the clip undoing on the charm. I know this video is a little bit different from what I normally do guys and I will resume to journaling videos again, but I just wanted to quickly show you my charm bracelet. The dobby, because when I wanted to search for it on YouTube I couldn't find anything, so I thought I would give it a go. Thank you very much for watching, bye guys.

Statement Jewellery

Hi all of you I'm Annam you're watching me on what when where TV. Today I'm going to take you guys into the whole idea of styling yourself with jewelry. So what I feel is that jewellery can really, really add so much of glamour quotient to your look. You can look so much more stylish with it and you can completely change the overall statement of your look, from pretty girly to rock punk edgy and you know then of course there's the whole red carpet glamorous kind of feel with a solid gold necklace.

So I'm going to give you a couple of style tips with the help of these products kept with me let's get started. So to begin with I have these really stunning earrings here with me. These little babies are from trato, like you can see this little gold does I mean it's completely gold but the detailing inside is gold as well. The gallery is gold also and then it has a tinge of bluish silvery sapphire stones right here.

What I also love is how cutely they split up, these red roses. I think these are absolutely beautiful to add your glamour to a regular look. One thing you should keep in mind while wearing a fantastic new earrings, is that especially if they're long, danglers like this one, or in the Indian case if they are like big chunk. I avoid going too heavy around the neck, because too much of the ears and too much in the neck, can just look really, really busy you know and it's not fun.

So if you are wearing like really long very statement earrings, I'd suggest to go for something relatively simpler around your neck and kind of balance the whole thing out. So I think this is one really important thing, balancing your overall jewellery up. Up next I'm going to go over to this necklace that I absolutely fell in love with. It's from pieces, if you look at it really closely it had everything from your silver, you've called your white and blue detailing. What is beautiful about it is that I would love to wear this on a plain white t-shirt and I think it would completely you know jazz up my look.

Also having said that, I'd like to say that just like I said in the case of the earrings, if I were to wear this I probably pair it up with a pair of really small studs and not go too heavy on the earrings because then it'll just it's just going to be all too busy around face. Up next I have with me this really, really pretty ring from Plato. You look at it really closely okay you see the mint detailing, again another piece which is a great combination of gold and silver. So it could go with either of the looks, metallic is really really in, so that's amazing.

The beauty of statement rings is that you don't have to count, you can wear as many as you want and it's very over-the-top and yet very, very glamorous to wear like three of these in one hand. Last but not the least I'm going to go over to this cool tough. This is from anonymous Co and one of the reasons I picked this cuff over all the options I had, from the amazing stuff at anonymous goers, it's adjustable, I mean so this cuff is adjustable and I like how it's hugging my wrist right now.

So again something that you guys can completely play around with are wrist cuffs or ankle cuffs, cuz especially when it comes to the wrist cuffs, the more you stacked up the sexier it looks. Stacking them up is one of the hugest trends, it has been one of the hugest trends over the past year, maybe small ones and thin ones, relatively thicker ones, who is crazy as you would like because they just look amazing, they really, really do.

It's like a lot of layered neck pieces but something that can never go wrong, literally. So that's all for now, these were the four pieces of jewelry that i've been playing with, noticing, observing and make sure you subscribe to the channel. Please hit the like button in comment below telling me whether or not you like this video and if are there any tips that you'd like to share with me, please let me know. You can comment below, you can tweet to me, you can post on my Facebook wall, you can follow me on Instagram. There's so many ways to do that, so make sure you keep coming back for lots more. Accessorize an outfit with Jewellery

Hey it's Lauren Messiah, your personal fashion stylist and it is time for a fashion question; that's what we do around here. Here we go, hey Lauren my question is about accessories, how much is too much and how little is too little? Got a lot of opinions on this so saddle up. When it comes to accessories, I love accessories because I think they can really take a ho-hum outfit to the next level.

However, accessories need to be used very strategically and in moderation. One of the things that I see working stylists do, people that like, I want to be stylish so I'm gonna pile on every accessory I own. It ends up looking really weird, really cheap, really tacky. So you want to use accessories in moderation.

I really don't like the idea of over accessorizing, but as you said, like what's too little? Under accessorizing is not good too, so let me try to make sense of this for you. My outfit right now okay I got black on, I've got white on, the outfit itself has a lot of interesting components. I've got a little bustier top and I've got lace I've got this jacket that's got like kind of a tuxedo double lapel thing happening.

I've got the high waist pants, I've got a patent leather shoe, there's stuff to look at here. I like accessories and it's part of my personal style to kind of have a, like okay now, like always like a little hey now piece, what's happening there?

So I added just this one gold necklace, this is definitely a statement piece. This is actually also one of my favourite pieces because everyone thinks it's Chanel and it's J.Crew, okay? So I love this, but I chose not to add earrings or add a ring or add a bracelet. The most I might wear is a watch because watches are practical and that's the only reason why I'd be wearing it.

I could technically these would match a gold earring but adding this earring as cute as it is, it's way too much, it's competing for visual attention here. I don't want people to be like, ‘oh cute earrings’ and cute necklace it's what I want people zeroing in on, what area of my outfit I want them looking at.

So got my necklace which showed the bustier top it's also showed the boobs goes out you know trying to catch me as a man. I'm picking my focal point. Now, alternatively if I had on a more toned down outfit, maybe instead of a bustier top it was a t-shirt, maybe instead of this jacket that’s got, you know some shine to it, the black, the white, it was just a plain white cotton blazer. Then I just had on a pair of jeans that could need more, that could need a little bit more, maybe this necklace isn't the fit so we add just a very simple delicate necklace to it.

That's not enough to be like oh my god great necklace, so you could do a delicate necklace and perhaps a simple earring. So now we've put some thought into putting this thing together. So if your piece is a super statement, then you most definitely could add multiple pieces. Like those earrings for example, these are exciting but they're also not like, oh my god in your face that's crazy.

So it wouldn't kill you to like add a ring to it. This would be a nice little pairing, but if I added those to this, I would be entering crazy town. Nobody likes going to crazy town, so you really want to calm it down with your accessories.

While I have you all here, something else that just drives me crazy, when it comes to accessorizing in jewellery; is matching sets. What are you guys thinking? This is in my top ten of style stuff, it doesn't bug the crap out of me. If you buy a necklace and it comes with earrings and it also comes with a bracelet, that's bad enough they're probably not that cute. But on the off chance that they are never wear all of those items together. That just looks like some, got it out of the box, put it on they said it with stylish so it must be. No.

To have great style and to cultivate a look that's yours, it's about taking those earrings out of the set and putting them with an amazing dress or matching them with a different necklace, that equally distributes the weight of your of your look. So never wear a set, I just while we're on the topic I just I have okay. So too much is multiple statement pieces together, too little is a delicate piece just all on its own. With delicate pieces you can stack, you can add, you can layer, so that's really the balance and when you look in the mirror, see what is immediately getting the attention of the look and don't let other things compete with that.

If I were going out right now, I would have a simple black clutch instead of something jewelled and blingy or loaded with logos, because this is the accessory that I want people to see. I was in a little bit of a 20s throwback, so I did my little like turban thing but if I did like a hat it would probably be too much because I'm fighting for attention.

This is the piece I want everybody to see. So I hope that answered your questions, a lot of it is experimentation - you can go by Coco Chanel's rule and take one thing off before you leave the house or you can just see how you feel and experiment as you go.
Or tag me on Instagram and I'll check out your look, haha, what you think about that?  Lauren Messiah is my handle, alright that's all for that, if you guys have a fashion question for me, ask me, and drop it in the comment section and I will do my very best to answer it right here on video. Speaking of videos you must subscribe because I'm putting out new videos three times a week I would hate for you to miss one. So get your subscribe on and I will catch you in the next video.

How To Wear Statement Jewellery

Hey guys, it’s Sona Gasparian from simplysona.com Rachel Zoe is the queen of layering and every time she does that it just looks so chic and elegant but sometimes I feel intimidated because I feel like, sometimes it can feel overwhelming. So today we’re going to learn how you can do that and still look fashionable, I hope you guys enjoy this video and let’s begin.

I’m excited to be back. We did another really fun poll, we have necklaces, we have rings, earrings, cuffs. Right now cuffs are kind of my favourite, Yeah, they’re definitely in so let’s play with that. I think we have some really fun Windsors like these that have different colours and textures to them I don’t know what kind of stands out to you. Something I guess for summer, so this is great for the summer, it’s got a little bit of colour, it’s gold, chunky. Yeah, I love that pop of colour. This is really pretty too, the cage effect is really neat.

I actually like the way that these look together. I think we definitely make a Nelson out of those. I think that the cuff really lend themselves to a 70’s vibe, so I think it would be cool to do maybe a wide leg, kind of something on the bottom, like a denim or a pant and the a little crop top on top.
I pulled a couple of these, a green silky pair, there’s this denim pair, high waisted. How do you feel about either of those? Are you thinking of pairing it with the blacks? Yeah, I think this black top is so cute with the ruffle on the bottom. You know I think because the material is too similar to the green, why don’t we go with the pants. A little change up and I think that’s like a true seventies also, they’re high waisted, they have this unfinished hem, a nice wide flair leg. This could be really cute with the cuffs.

I’m going to try this while you pick the tallest platforms, I’m very short, and I will see you in a little bit. Ok, perfect. Oh, I love this. I know it’s so cute. Those jeans look really great on you, so seventies. You weren’t kidding, they are so long. We put you in the highest platform we could find and I still had to cuff the hem under to make it work. We’re just so cool I don’t even know how you do that. Well it’s the unfinished hem so that’s how they’re naturally supposed to be but the designer let out the hem so it’s just putting them back to how they were supposed to be. It looks really cute on you and I love it with the cuffs. I think they make a really cool statement with this. I think it’s funny because they’re definitely chunky but they don’t look as chunky with this outfit.

It’s all about pairing it with the right outfit and then it will look like they belong versus ‘oh my god that girl’s wearing so many cuffs, versus if I had it with the dress it just looked hideous. I definitely like the outfit but I would love to see something more summery. I think those cuffs are really great, it’s a really cool look but another statement piece I think are so fun are earrings and you can wear them during the day, they can transition to night. Especially for you with your hair it would be so cute, so pretty just highlight your face. Maybe even go lower than this, a really really long one.
We pulled a few options, we have some that have crystals, some that are a little more vintage feel  and some with coloured stones. What do you gravitate towards, are you looking for? I like what you said about going from day to night, so something that would be versatile, from work to play kind of thing. I think these gold with the chains are a good option for that because they feel like they could be worn during the day in a boho way, but you could definitely wear them at night also. I like this a lot.
They’re so pretty, let’s see how they look, that way you have something going on near your face and on your hand. I think we can build a daytime casual look around this, let’s do that. So let’s build your look. Something else to remember when you’re choosing an outfit around accessories is to pare down the clothing a little bit. As much as this is a really nice solid colour, you know this isn’t too crazy as a print but I think it would be nice to keep this look really neutral and also your earrings have a Bohemian vibe, so maybe we do separates. We have this white top which has an off the shoulder detail, so that will also help to bring attention up towards your face and accentuate the earrings even more. I do like the detail and I like the material, it’s really light and silky and really pretty and has an easy flow to it, similar to the earrings. We could pair it with these really neutral shorts. I think this would be an easy breezy, really cute look.

I like this and I like that it’s ‘flowy’ and soft materials, this is going to be perfect. I think this is perfect for the summer because it’s light, the fabrics are light, the colours are light, it’s the perfect outfit for the summer. It all comes together and it draws the focus up towards your shoulders and your face and lets the earrings really shine, and they are so pretty. Perfect, let’s do some shoes for this. I love a great lace up gladiator, I think they’re really on trend right now, especially for summer and I think the metallic will pick up the metallic in your earrings and could be really cool for a more casual vibe, or we can kick it up a notch with these sandals. They’re a Newton white and they have this gold hardware and they also go around  your ankle.

They’re both really cute, but I think I’m going to go with these because I’m short, got to give me some height. These are amazing, they go so well with the outfit, love the gold detailing it complements the earrings. I just overall think this look is my favourite. Perfect, so lets just get you a bag and you’re on your way. You look really put together and still really comfortable but ready for a great summer day and I love that it highlights your earrings, the statement piece.
Well thank you so much for having me, I’m going to get used to this treatment and keep coming back so I hope you guys like me. You are more than welcome anytime and thanks again and I will see you soon.

I love this outfit. It’s definitely my favourite because the colours are just so beautiful and I just love how light and comfortable that the fabrics are.
